The AWU NSW Branch represents workers across a broad range of industries and aims to improve wages and working conditions for all members.

To better understand what matters to the workers, our Organisers are always on the road, visiting current and future workplaces. From the brewing industry to poultry farms, from grain harvest to cotton fields, from highways to tunnelling, our Organisers are keen to talk to members and eligible members and help obtain job security, better pay, and fairer working conditions.

As the diverse coverage we have, the AWU NSW Branch’s Organisers are from various working backgrounds and have different specialities in their fields. Our Organisers continue their learning journey and are upskilling and expanding their knowledge to better serve our members.

Our dedicated team of Organisers, WHS Officials, and Legal Officers at the AWU NSW Branch work collectively to protect our members and to eliminate potential hazards at work. Your safety is paramount to us! What the employers have missed or overlooked regarding your site safety measures, our WHS Officials and Organisers will be there and fight for you.
