New Rangers EBA for AWU Members

During the bargaining negotiations, the AWU has successfully fought for:-

  • A 2.5% increase on 1st September each year over the four years of the Agreement.
  • Backdating the first of these yearly payments to the 1st September 2019.
    A one-off payment of $1,250.
  • The right for the AWU to pursue higher wage increases should the 2020 Federal Annual Wage Review support an increase of more than 2.5%.
  • A review of Ranger positions by the Department.
  • The introduction of a progression scheme.

This draft Agreement will go out for consultation and balloting. If the draft is supported by members it will be filed in the QIRC for approval.

We’ll keep members updated as this progresses.
