Welcome to the AWU Resource Area for our Alumina/Aluminium Industry Delegates, Stewards, Safety Representatives and Members.

The Australian Workers' Union represents over 12,000 Alumina Industry workers across Australia.

We are proud to be the main union in Australia representing employees of Alcoa, AARP, Alcan, Hydro, Tomago, QAL, Capral, Comalco and Worsley.

The AWU has workplace representatives and officials looking after every Refinery, Smelter, Mine Site and Plant across the nation.

This website has been designed to keep all Aluminium Industry members up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in our industry as well as to provide on the latest campaigns being run by the AWU.
