The Australian Worker Autumn 2003

The Australian Worker is the official journal of the Australian Workers Union. The Autumn 2003 includes a summary of the AWU National Conference 2003, and covers issues on OH&S such as the AWU’s campaign to rid workplaces from Asbestos, Fighting for Fair Hours, AWU National Financial reports plus an update on the National Bargaining Agenda.

'These AWU challenges - family friendly polices, corporate governance, employee entitlements, workplace safety, wages, drug and alcohol testing, privacy in the workplace - are all formidable challenges for the AWU. The way we rise to meet these challenges is through grit and determination. It is our determination to go one day longer."

In the Autumn 2003 edition of The Australian Worker, National Secretary Bill Shorten's discusses the campaigns of the Australian Workers Union to be there for members all the way.
